Support Elf Day and help raise money to beat dementia
Elf Day this year is on 7th December and Alzheimer's Society are asking everyone to join them in sprinkling some festive cheer and raise much needed funds to to support people with dementia and their families.

What is Elf Day?

Elf Day is a fabulous festive fundraiser designed to get you in the Christmas spirit whilst raising money to help beat dementia. Unleash your inner elf by dressing up – as much or as little as you like.
Keep it simple with red and green, or jingle all the way with pointy ears and curly shoes. If fancy dress isn’t your thing, why not express yoursELF by baking frosted goodies or playing festive games instead?
How can I get involved?
There are loads of ways to raise money during Elf Day. Let your imagination run wild or why not try one of these 3 tried and tested fundraising treats:
1. Festive fancy dress: Whether you go all out elf, or simple wear a hat or Christmas jumper. Encourage others to join in the fun and ask for a donation in return
2. Festive bake sale: Mince pies, candy canes, yule logs… Everyone loves a sweet treat.
3. Christmas movie night: Gather friends and family and ask for a donation for refreshments
Alzheimer's Society have produced a free fundraising pack with loads of exciting ideas and helpful hints to help you get started, and there are lots of resources, games and materials to download on their website.
So what's stopping you? You could organise an Elf Day anywhere...work, school, or community venue, and if the 7th December doesn't suit, just pick any other day in December.
So unleash your inner elf and get your Christmas festivities off to a flying start!
